The trio is being singled out for its work in the new film "Excuse Me for Living."

Christopher Lloyd, Robert Vaughn and Jerry Stiller will be presented with an award for “Best Ensemble Cast of Yesterday and Today” for their work in the new film Excuse Me for Living at a Friar’s Club luncheon in New York on Oct. 9. Tom Pelphrey, Melissa Archer, Ewa Da Cruz, Dick Cavett and Wayne Knight also star in the comedy, written and directed by Ric Klass, which opens theatrically and on VOD on Oct. 12.

"Excuse Me for Living stands out as a wonderful and deeply funny new comedy that truly represents some of the finest comedic actors of the past and future. The Friars Club is proud to present this award to such a deserving and distinguished cast," Charlie Prince, executive director of the Friars Club Comedy Film Festival, said.

In the film, Pelphrey plays a rich, suicidal twenty-something who dropped out of medical school to pursue his own drug habit. After a suicide attempt on the George Washington Bridge, he lands in an upscale rehabilitation clinic, where a doctor, played by Vaughn, takes him under his wing.
